SPACEWATCH® discovery of 1997 XF11

The three images above show the asteroid's movement among the background stars. 1997 XF11 is the small black dot that moves from left to right during time (about 1/2 hour between frames).
As stated in the following Minor Planet Center Press Release, this Apollo (discovered by Jim Scotti on 1997 December 6) will make a close approach to the Earth on October 26, 2028.
